FreelanceFlow
Privacy Policy.
Last updated: 7 June 2026
In short: FreelanceFlow keeps everything you enter on your own device. We don't operate servers that store your data, we don't use accounts, and we don't track you or run ads.

1. Data controller
The party responsible for your data under the GDPR is:
Rueda Studios
Königstraße 47a, 14163 Berlin
Email: rudeashare@gmail.com
2. Our approach to privacy
FreelanceFlow is built around privacy by design. The financial information you track is sensitive, so the app is designed to keep it with you rather than with us. We took the harder engineering path of running everything locally specifically to avoid handling your data.
3. Personal data we collect
We do not collect personal data through the app. Specifically:
- Your entries — income, expenses, descriptions, categories, income goals, and country/tax settings are stored locally on your device only. We have no access to them.
- No account — the app does not require registration, sign-in, name, or email to function.
- No tracking or advertising — the app contains no third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking technologies, and does not use advertising identifiers.
4. Diagnostics
We do not collect diagnostic or usage data ourselves. If you have enabled "Share With App Developers" in your iOS settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash and performance statistics. This is controlled entirely by Apple and by your device settings, and it does not identify you.
5. Purchases (FreelanceFlow Pro)
If you subscribe to FreelanceFlow Pro, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple's processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can view or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
6. Documents you generate
Invoices (PDF) and exports (CSV) are created on your device. When you share or save them, they go only where you send them; they are never uploaded to us.
7. If you contact us
When you email our support address, we process the email address and message you provide solely to respond to your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing support (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We retain support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your query and meet any legal obligations.
8. Legal basis for processing
Because the app does not collect personal data, most processing activities do not apply. Where limited processing occurs (such as responding to a support request), we rely on your consent and/or our legitimate interests, as described above.
9. Data retention
Data you enter remains on your device until you delete it using Reset Account or by uninstalling the app. We do not retain copies. Support emails are kept only for as long as necessary.
10. International transfers
As we do not collect or store your data on servers, there are no international transfers of your in-app data. Any email you send us is handled by our email provider in line with applicable safeguards.
11. Your rights under the GDPR
To the extent the law applies, you have the right to:
- access the personal data held about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time; and
- lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Because your in-app data lives on your device, you can exercise access, correction, erasure, and portability yourself directly within the app. For any data we may hold (such as support emails), contact us at the email above and we will respond within one month.
12. Children
FreelanceFlow is intended for adults managing freelance finances and is not directed at children under 16.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date before the change takes effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
